Thanks for 1,000 visitors! I'm not sure how many of them are real people, but it's exciting to see.

These are my favorite things I've created in the past 6 months.

Colors of the Rainbow (Cover demo)

I'm really happy with how this came out, especially the chorus and prechorus.

I made it in FL using the Vocaloid 5 plugin, which was a really great change from my previous workflows. This is the first time I've actually been happy with my vocal mixing!

Also, I've been having a lot of fun doing fine-tuning on Japanese phonemes for English lyrics. "Satellites" and "There Will Be Tears" (still a demo), also on my SoundCloud, use the same techniques.

Sadly, I probably won't be finishing this one due to some very concerning issues with my software.

Duality 2

I'm very slowly recovering from my four-year art-school-induced art block. Studying design and illustration revealed a fundamental flaw in my creative foundation and addressing that has been difficult. Finding a new muse has helped me get back on the horse, but over the summer I want to start going way out of my comfort zone with visual arts to build a better foundation.

Until then, here's (one of) the fruits of my recent labor, featuring said muse. He's not actually new to me—I've been a Len fan for 14 years—but he's sort of been "reborn" as my muse as I reclaim the things I loved from that time of my life.

I've been exploring the idea of duality lately, which seems to fascinate me. This drawing is one example of such; I want to show how his on-stage and off-stage personas are one and the same person despite their heavily contrasting appearances. Just like Hannah Montana, I guess...
